The country shares land borders with Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, and the eastern part of Malaysia. It has 34 provinces, of which five have special status. The sovereign state is a presidential, constitutional republic with an elected legislature. Java, the world's most populous island, is home to more than half of the country's population.

With more than 270.2 million people, Indonesia is the world's fourth-most populous country as well as the most populous Muslim-majority country. Indonesia is the world's largest island country and the 14th-largest country by land area, at 1,904,569 square kilometers (735,358 square miles). It consists of more than seventeen thousand islands, including Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, and parts of Borneo (Kalimantan) and New Guinea (Papua). Indonesia is a country in Southeast Asia and Oceania, between the Indian and Pacific oceans. It is a recommended country to play for new players. If the player is skilled enough, they can make an empire stretching across the oceans, but if managed poorly, they will end up becoming yet another colonial possession.

Also it is really easy to play as long as there is no Indian/ Chinese/ Japanese player going to conquer you for their ambitions. There are no experience requirements to play as Indonesia. Indonesia can form three formables, Srivijaya Empire, South-Eastern Asia Federation and Alam Melayu. Indonesia starts as a lesser superpower, however it is not that commonly played and has the least population out of all superpowers(despite it being much more populous than all the other tier 6 nations IRL).

It is a large country in terms of land and has a decent population, additionally it shares land and maritime borders with eight different countries: Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, Palau and Australia. The Republic of Indonesia is a powerful Tier VI nation located in Southeast Asia.
